Welcome to Troop 673!

Troop 673 is an 'all-girl' Scout Troop started in February 2019. It began on the very first day that girls were allowed into the Scouts BSA program. From simple beginnings (7 Scouts meeting in the Scoutmaster's living room) it has grown into a very successful Troop. The Troop is focused on our CORE principles - Conservation, Outdoors, Recreation and Exploration! We believe that the outdoor adventures are the best way to instill the confidence, character and initiative needed by today's youth. Our Scouts are challenged to organize their own adventures, carry out their plans, and adapt when things don't go as expected. By the time they reach Eagle Scout, they will truly "be prepared" for anything!

Some of our adventures include:

Big Sur Condor Campout

Archery in De La Viega Park

Camping at Manresa Beach

Backpacking in Arroyo Seco, Big Basin and the High Sierras

Whitewater Rafting on the American River

Kayak camping in Tomales Bay, Channel Islands National Park, and the San Juan Islands

Skiing at Yosemite National Park

Some of our Community Service Projects include:

Building sifter boxes for the victims of the CZU Complex Fire

Setting up tents and facilities for refugees

Cleaning up trash on beaches and in mountain areas

Removing invasive plants in Lassen National Park
